What You'll Do
As a Patent Attorney, you will:
- Draft and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications
- Develop patent portfolio strategies for innovative clients
- Conduct patentability, freedom-to-operate, and validity analyses
- Counsel clients on intellectual property strategy
- Work directly with inventors, engineers, executives, and in-house counsel
- Collaborate with experienced attorneys across multiple technical disciplines
- Gain exposure to domestic and international intellectual property matters
This position offers substantial responsibility, client interaction, and the opportunity to build long-term client relationships.
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates who possess:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Registration to practice before the USPTO
- Admission to the New Jersey Bar (or ability to obtain admission)
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related engineering discipline
- Minimum of 2 years of patent prosecution experience in a law firm or comparable IP practice
- Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client matters
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior engineering or industry experience
- Patent litigation experience
- Experience managing client portfolios
- Portable business (welcome but not required)

Location
This is a full-time position based in our Voorhees, New Jersey office, with hybrid work flexibility available for qualified candidates.
