About the Role:
National Heating & Air Conditioning in Clearwater, FL is looking for a skilled HVAC technician to join our growing team! This is an exciting opportunity to take on a dynamic role covering service, repair, and installation — keeping homes and businesses comfortable year-round in the Sunshine State.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems
- Perform installation of new heating and air conditioning equipment and systems
- Conduct routine maintenance and preventative service on HVAC units
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant-related issues
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding system issues and recommended solutions
- Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and equipment documentation
- Ensure all work meets local codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications
Requirements:
- Proven experience in HVAC service, repair, and/or installation
- EPA 608 Certification required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Familiarity with a variety of HVAC brands, systems, and equipment
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in the field
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in Florida's heat and varying weather conditions
