General Labor

Job purpose The General Warehouse employee is responsible for the day to day activities of operations as the Operations Managers sees needed.  Duties can include sorting materials, operating equipment, and recording/entry of data into the ERP system. General Warehouse employees will part take in QEH&S initiatives as designated by the QEH&S Manager. Also, the Specific ISO and R2 Certifications to ensure company is within compliance. This role is also responsible for understanding how their job fits into the management system. Duties and responsibilities 

• Daily activities assigned that could include
  • Sorting
  • Cleaning
  • Operating Machinery
  • Weighing, tagging and inventorying materials

 Qualifications Qualifications include:

• Education – High school graduates minimum or equivalent work experience with demonstrable results.
• Team first attitude
• Able to follow simple instructions
• Experience in a fast-paced production environment.

 Working conditions Mostly warehouse conditions.  May involve working in hot and cold climate.  Physical requirements Moderate lifting may be involved in the assessment and classification of products.
