- Support lead teachers with classroom care, routines, and learning activities
- Assist with meals, diapering, toileting, naps, transitions, and outdoor play
- Help maintain active supervision and a safe classroom environment
- Update daily activity logs and communicate professionally with families
- Assist with classroom cleaning, sanitizing, organization, and setup
- Document children’s learning through observations, photos, and videos
- Provide support in different classrooms as needed
- Work cooperatively with teachers, administrators, and support staff
- At least 19 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Patience, energy, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Ability to pass required state and federal background checks
- Ability to work an eight-hour shift Monday through Friday between 6:45 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and regularly sit, stand, bend, kneel, and move throughout the day
- Ability to see, hear, supervise, and respond to children at all times
- Previous experience in a childcare center, daycare, preschool, school, camp, or similar setting
- Coursework or credentials in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
- Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification
