Job Title: Sr. Architect | Project Manager
Position Location: Boston, MA
Approx. Length of Position: Direct Hire
Degree Required: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program
We're seeking a Senior Architect | Project Manager to join our client’s collaborative, design-driven studio. Your strengths leans towards Project Management and/or Project Architecture, you'll have the opportunity to lead projects from early planning through construction while working closely with clients, consultants, and an experienced team of architects committed to thoughtful, sustainable design. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects through programming, design, documentation, bidding, and construction.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and consultant coordination.
- Maintain design continuity while ensuring successful project delivery.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, municipalities, and school districts.
- Lead presentations, public meetings, and stakeholder discussions.
- Build consensus among user groups and community partners.
- Guide design solutions that balance functionality, sustainability, and long-term value.
- Oversee construction documents and technical quality.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and construction standards.
- Develop creative, client-focused architectural solutions.
- Construction Administration
- Mentor junior architects and project staff
Required Qualifications:
- 10 to 15+ years of professional architectural experience
- Licensed Architect (RA) preferred
- Experience leading projects through all phases of design and construction
- Experience with educational, municipal, institutional, or other public-sector projects
- Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and public bidding processes
- Proficiency with ArchiCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
Technical / Software skills:
- Proficiency with ArchiCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
Technical / Software skills:
- Strong Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software and Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel required.
- Candidates must be experienced in wood frame construction documentation
Flexible work from home options available.
Compensation: $120.00 - $150.00 per year
