- Process a high volume of vendor and subcontractor invoices with speed and accuracy.
- Review invoices for proper documentation, coding, and approvals.
- Enter accounts payable transactions into company accounting systems.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation.
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Assist vendors and internal teams with payment inquiries.
- Maintain organized electronic records and documentation.
- Support monthly reconciliations and other accounting tasks as assigned.
- Work closely with the Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- 1-3 years of accounting, accounts payable, bookkeeping, or administrative experience preferred.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Comfortable processing repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow established processes and accept coaching and direction.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
