Lead Residential HVAC Installer

We are hiring an experienced Lead Residential HVAC Installer who takes pride in quality workmanship, leads by example, and enjoys helping others grow.
In this role, you will take ownership of residential HVAC installation projects, lead and mentor installation crews, and ensure every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. What You’ll Do
- Lead, support, and mentor a team of residential HVAC installers.
- Install, replace, and retrofit residential HVAC systems.
- Complete projects safely, on schedule, and according to company quality standards.
- Read blueprints, technical drawings, and installation plans.
- Perform site evaluations and identify installation requirements.
- Install and test furnaces, air handlers, condensers, thermostats, ductwork, refrigerant lines, and related components.
- Troubleshoot installation challenges and make necessary field adjustments.
- Coordinate with homeowners, suppliers, project managers, and other trades.
- Train newer installers on proper installation techniques, safety procedures, and industry best practices.
- Complete accurate job documentation and maintain a clean, professional worksite.
- Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications and applicable local codes.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven residential HVAC installation experience.
- Previous leadership, crew lead, or mentoring experience preferred.
- Valid HVAC license or required certifications, based on local regulations.
- Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems, installation methods, and local codes.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Professionalism, integrity, and close attention to detail.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of residential HVAC installation work.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
