- Lead water, fire, storm, mold, and emergency mitigation projects.
- Perform water extraction, structural drying, demolition, board-up, tarping, mold remediation, and contents protection.
- Supervise and mentor Mitigation Technicians on job sites.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company and industry standards.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, insurance adjusters, property managers, and project managers.
- Complete job documentation, moisture mapping, photos, and reports using company technology.
- Monitor equipment placement and drying progress while maintaining accurate records.
- Participate in the on-call emergency response rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in clean, organized, and ready-to-deploy condition.
- Assist with warehouse operations, inventory, and equipment maintenance when needed.
- Promote a positive team environment while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Previous restoration or mitigation experience required.
- Leadership or crew lead experience preferred.
- IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) certification is considered a strong asset.
- Additional IICRC certifications (ASD, FSRT, AMRT, OCT, etc.) are an asset.
- Strong understanding of drying principles, moisture monitoring, and mitigation best practices.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently while leading a team.
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Fluent in English.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work overtime and participate in an emergency on-call rotation.
- Competitive wage of $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications.
