About the Role:
Leyden Solutions Inc is looking for a talented and driven Database Specialist Level II to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain relational and non-relational database systems
- Monitor database performance, conduct tuning, and optimize queries for efficiency
- Develop and enforce database security policies, access controls, and backup/recovery procedures
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to support data modeling and schema design
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, outages, and performance bottlenecks
- Perform regular database maintenance, patching, and version upgrades
- Document database configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures
Requirements:
- MINIMUM ACTIVE United States Government Secret Clearance (in order to access client systems)
- 2+ years of experience in database administration or a related database specialist role
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database platforms such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL Server
- Experience with database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization
- Familiarity with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
- Strong understanding of data security, access management, and compliance best practices
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Remote work environment

Compensation: $95,000.00 - $102,000.00 per year
