JOB DESCRIPTION
The Gym Receptionist position reports directly to the Club Manager. He will attend it to achieve the order and control established for the club. Receptionists are the first contact of customers and employees with the company.  The receptionist must serve the public in a timely and efficient manner either by phone call or in person while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Roles and responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome visitors.
  • Be aware of the check in alerts of the partners and update information requested in the alert.
  • Ensure that both customer and guest comply with the COVID protocol stipulated by the company.
  • Guest control: Confirm that the customer has the guest benefit. Make sure you sign the VIP Log, present proof of vaccination, towel and mask.
  • Answer customer questions and address suggestions.
  • When a prospect visit is received, it must be noted in the "Guest Sign In" and follow the Club-Os procedure
  • Make and answer telephone calls by taking and/or leaving corresponding messages.
  • Attend to anyone who approaches the club (customers, prospects, among others) and direct them to the corresponding people.
  • Receive and verify orders from suppliers (office depot, Prime Janitorial, fumigation, etc.)
  • Ensure the order and good appearance of the reception.
  • Assist in club administrative duties as required.
  • Maintain offices stocked with sales materials such as pens, VIPs, Road to Health, barcodes, manual memberships, class programs, reformer programs (if applicable).
  • Control delivers payroll checks (if applicable).
  • Must be willing to take on other roles as assigned by club management.
  • Support the manager and/or collector with retention initiatives using available resources to effectively resolve high-level service issues.
  • Collect payments in arrears.
  • Resolve member complaints or concerns in a way that leaves the customer happy with HCOA Fitness and feeling good about continuing their membership with us.
  • Demonstrate through personal effort a high level of commitment to the constant maintenance of the installation.
  • Identify and report any necessary repairs or fixes to the manager and ensure they are noted in the maintenance log.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Must possess a high school diploma/GED and 1 year of previous customer service experience.
  • Preferred Fitness Industry Experience
  • High degree of initiative; highly motivated and dynamic person who can work independently or as part of a group
  • Flexible hours – may include weekends and/or evenings
  • Reliable Transportation Method
  • Excellent customer service and phone skills

Compensation: $10.50 per hour
