Experience Matters. Your safety matters more.
When your vehicle is damaged, you’re not shopping for a paint job. You’re trying to get your life back. At Malecha’s, our purpose is simple: do the job right, not the easy way—so your family rides in a vehicle that’s repaired to factory standards and looks brand new.
Our Why
Our Why
Cars can be fixed quickly or they can be fixed correctly. We choose correctly every time. That means following OEM procedures, calibrating today’s safety systems, and standing up to insurer shortcuts when needed.
From a one-stall garage to two modern shops
From a one-stall garage to two modern shops
Malecha’s started in 2002 when William “Willy” Malecha turned a one-man garage into a neighborhood body shop. He’d been in the trade since he was 15, learning the craft as a painter and technician, and kept the promise he learned at home: do honest work and take care of people.
Today, Malecha’s operates two full facilities:
- Faribault: a new 11,000 sq ft flagship shop opened in July 2023, with a 6,000 sq ft expansion underway for ADAS calibration, accessories, PPF, and detailing.
- Waseca: the former Dave’s Body Shop, acquired in Nov 2022, retaining the trusted local team and adding Malecha’s training, equipment, and warranty.
