Traffic Executive – Import to Mexico
At Laredo BSL Inc. we are looking for a Traffic Executive with experience in foreign trade operations and logistics coordination, specialized in imports to Mexico and customer service.
We are looking for an organized, proactive person with excellent communication skills, capable of efficiently coordinating import crossings, customs documentation and transportation services, while providing quality attention to our customers.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the processes related to importation into Mexico.
- Management of customs platforms and concepts, including:
- COVE
- DODA
- PITA
- Digitizations (e-Documents)
- SED (ISS)
- Electronic Value Statement (EVM)
- Ability to read and interpret petitions.
- Experience in coordinating border crossings and transfer operations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Microsoft Office and Outlook management.
- Experience in the coordination of freight and transportation services.
- General knowledge about:
- Tariff Items
- Import Regulations
- Applicable Official Mexican Standards
- SADER (SAGARPA)
- Automatic Alerts
- Professional command of English and Spanish, required to communicate effectively with customers, carriers, customs agencies, and authorities in the United States and Mexico.
Working hours
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- 1 hour break for lunch.
- The usual schedule is daytime; however, additional hours may occasionally be required after regular hours or on Saturday mornings, depending on operational needs.
