About My Agency

I opened my State Farm agency in 2015 to serve families and businesses throughout Arlington, Euless, and the surrounding Tarrant County communities. Before becoming a State Farm agent, I spent more than 20 years in finance, where I discovered how rewarding it is to help people become more financially secure.

I believe the right attitude and willingness to learn are just as important as previous insurance experience. If you are motivated, enjoy talking with people, and want to build a professional career, I am willing to invest the time needed to help you learn. You do not need to know everything about insurance when you join us. My team and I will provide training, coaching, and support as you develop your skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in insurance, customer service, or sales with an established local agency.

Position Overview

As an Entry-Level Insurance Account Representative, you will help customers understand their options, identify their needs, and connect them with appropriate insurance products and services.

You will learn how to build customer relationships, conduct outreach, ask thoughtful questions, and provide a positive customer experience. You will also receive guidance as you become familiar with State Farm products, agency processes, and insurance licensing.

Responsibilities

  • Connect with prospective and current customers by phone, text, email, and in person.
  • Ask questions to understand each customer’s situation and insurance needs.
  • Develop leads and schedule appointments.
  • Follow up with customers and help build lasting relationships.
  • Introduce customers to relevant insurance products and services.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service.
  • Assist with general questions regarding coverage, policy changes, billing, and claims.
  • Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and team development.
  • Work toward individual and agency activity goals.

What I’m Looking For

Insurance experience is not required. I am looking for someone who:

  • Is eager to learn and open to coaching.
  • Enjoys speaking with and helping people.
  • Has a positive attitude and dependable work ethic.
  • Is comfortable making outbound calls and following up with customers.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally.
  • Can listen carefully and ask good questions.
  • Takes accountability and follows through on commitments.
  • Is motivated by personal growth and increased earning potential.
  • Wants to build a long-term professional career.

Customer service, retail, hospitality, telemarketing, or sales experience is helpful but not required.

Licensing

An active Property and Casualty insurance license is a plus, but it is not required to apply. I am open to helping the right candidate understand the licensing process and prepare to obtain the necessary license within an agreed-upon timeframe.

Why Join My Team?

  • Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Hands-on training and ongoing coaching.
  • Support from an experienced agent and established team.
  • Opportunity to develop valuable insurance and sales skills.
  • Career advancement and additional earning potential after licensing.
  • A professional environment focused on customer relationships, growth, and community involvement.

If you are hungry to learn, willing to put in the effort, and ready to begin a new career, I would be glad to speak with you.

This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs.
Compensation: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. State Farm agents’ employees are not employees of State Farm. Agents are responsible for and make all employment decisions regarding their employees.
