About the Role:
Sacramento Montessori is looking for a passionate and nurturing Infant Teacher to join our dedicated early childhood education team in Sacramento, CA. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact during the most critical stage of a child's development in a warm, child-centered environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, loving care and supervision for infants in a safe and stimulating classroom environment
- Implement age-appropriate Montessori-inspired activities to support cognitive, social, and physical development
- Maintain accurate daily logs including feeding, sleeping, and developmental observations
- Communicate openly and regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and daily activities
- Ensure classroom cleanliness, safety, and compliance with licensing regulations
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a cohesive, nurturing learning community
- Support each infant's individual developmental milestones and unique needs
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
- Knowledge of or interest in Montessori philosophy and infant development
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must meet California Community Care Licensing requirements
- Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- 12 ECE units, 3 infant toddler units

Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
