POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Part-Time Remote BCBA Clinical Supervisor, you will play an essential role in overseeing individualized ABA programming, providing virtual clinical supervision, supporting Behavior Technicians and RBTs, and collaborating with families to promote meaningful client outcomes.

This position is ideal for an experienced BCBA who is confident providing remote clinical guidance, enjoys mentoring clinical staff, and values a collaborative approach to behavioral healthcare.

You will work closely with our clinical leadership team while maintaining the flexibility of a part-time, fully remote position.

Our remote supervisors remain actively involved in treatment planning, clinical decision-making, caregiver collaboration, and staff development to ensure clients receive consistent, high-quality services.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Clinical Assessment & Treatment Planning

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • Design, implement, and oversee evidence-based ABA programming using approaches such as Natural Environment Teaching (NET), Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT), and appropriate communication supports.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional skill development, client autonomy, and meaningful improvements in quality of life.
  • Analyze clinical data, monitor treatment progress, and adjust interventions to support measurable and sustainable outcomes.
  • Ensure clinical programming is individualized, culturally responsive, ethical, and aligned with BACB standards and applicable telehealth requirements.
  • Provide ongoing clinical oversight and case management through approved remote supervision and consultation methods.
Clinical Leadership & Remote Supervision

  • Provide ongoing virtual supervision, mentorship, and clinical support to Behavior Technicians, RBTs, and other assigned team members.
  • Deliver remote coaching, training, constructive feedback, and professional guidance to promote clinical competency and treatment fidelity.
  • Observe clinical sessions virtually and provide timely recommendations to support effective intervention implementation.
  • Guide clinical staff in responding appropriately to challenging behaviors, including aggression and self-injurious behaviors, in accordance with established safety procedures.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment that encourages professional development and continuous learning.
  • Participate in virtual clinical meetings, case consultations, staff trainings, and quality improvement initiatives.
Family & Community Collaboration

  • Partner with caregivers to develop practical, individualized strategies that support learning and independence across environments.
  • Provide virtual caregiver education and training to promote consistency and meaningful progress.
  • Collaborate remotely with educators, school psychologists, assistant supervisors, and other professionals to coordinate comprehensive behavioral support.
  • Participate virtually in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and school-based consultations when appropriate.
  • Support trauma-informed practices and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) within applicable service settings.
  • Maintain open, respectful, and culturally responsive communication with clients, families, and community partners.
Clinical Documentation & Case Management

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, treatment plans, progress reports, and supervision records.
  • Monitor treatment outcomes and ensure services are delivered in accordance with clinical and organizational expectations.
  • Collaborate with administrative and clinical teams to support service coordination and respond appropriately to referrals.
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and organizational initiatives.
  • Maintain the selected weekly billable-hour commitment of either 15 or 20 hours, along with approximately 3–5 hours of paid non-billable responsibilities.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a closely related field.
  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with children diagnosed with autism or other developmental disabilities.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience within an ABA service setting.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience providing remote clinical supervision or telehealth-based ABA services.
  • Strong clinical knowledge of ABA principles, behavioral assessments, treatment planning, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise, train, and mentor clinical staff effectively in a virtual environment.
  • Experience developing and implementing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • Excellent communication, organization, documentation, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage clinical responsibilities independently while collaborating effectively with a remote multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, cultural responsiveness, individualized care, and client autonomy.
  • Must reside in California.
  • Ability to successfully complete required criminal background screening and Live Scan fingerprinting.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience providing remote clinical supervision across home, clinic, and school-based programs.
  • Experience collaborating with school districts and participating virtually in IEP meetings.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed practices and multidisciplinary service coordination.
  • Experience supporting caregivers and clinical staff through telehealth platforms.
  • Bilingual or multilingual communication skills.
  • Strong comfort with technology, electronic clinical documentation, and virtual collaboration tools.

WORK SCHEDULE & ENVIRONMENT

Position Type: Part-Time, Fully Remote

Schedule:

  • Select a weekly commitment of 15 or 20 billable hours.
  • Approximately 3–5 additional paid non-billable hours per week.
  • Services are scheduled Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
  • Availability is required during peak service hours of 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Actual scheduled hours will depend on caseload and client availability.
  • Saturday sessions may also be available.
  • Specific schedules are coordinated based on assigned cases, clinical needs, and client availability.
Remote Work Environment:

This is a fully remote, telehealth-based position. Clinical Supervisors provide virtual supervision and consultation for clients receiving ABA services in home, clinic, school, and community settings.

All assigned clinical and administrative responsibilities are completed remotely.

Remote Work Requirements:

  • Reliable high-speed internet connection capable of supporting video-based supervision and telehealth services.
  • Access to a private, professional workspace that supports HIPAA-compliant communication and client confidentiality.
  • Ability to participate in virtual clinical meetings, caregiver consultations, and team collaboration.
  • Comfort with electronic health records, data collection platforms, and other clinical technology.
  • Ability to maintain professional communication and timely documentation in a remote environment.
Physical Requirements:

  • Primarily sedentary work performed remotely using a computer.
  • Extended periods of video-based clinical supervision, documentation, and virtual consultation.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with reasonable accommodations as required by applicable law.
