Position Summary:
Available during agency operation hours. The Clinical Manager is the Supervising Nurse and is responsible for oversight and management of the clinical team and shall supervise and direct nursing and home health aides to ensure quality care delivery and appropriate case management within the Agency’s scope of services, policies and procedures, State and Federal laws and Regulations, the Nurse Practice Act, and Accreditation entity requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, and;
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Indiana or holds a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) license recognized by the State of Indiana, and;
- Has two (2) years of nursing experience, with at least one (1) year of supervisory or administrative experience, and;
- Remains eligible to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs, and;
- Remains in compliance with agency Health Screening requirements, and;
- Remains free from use of substances prohibited by Indiana and/or Federal law, and;
- Has no reported criminal history, as obtained through a national criminal history background check, as required by Indiana and/or Federal law, that precludes the individual from appointment to the Clinical Manager or Supervising Nurse positions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN), or higher.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise and direct members of the care team.
- Demonstrated knowledge of home health regulatory and reimbursement requirements.
- Home Care experience in Skilled Nursing care delivery or Case Management.
- Remains on the premises, or capable of being reached immediately by phone, pager, or other means in order to respond to an emergency, provide guidance to staff, answer questions, and resolve issues, within a reasonable amount of time given the emergency or issue that has been raised.

- Provides oversight of all patient care services and personnel including oversight, management, and direction of the making of patient and personnel assignments, coordinating patient care, coordinating referrals, assuring that patient needs are continually assessed, assuring the development and implementation of, and updates to, the individualized plan of care.
- Manages, oversees, and directs the productivity of clinical team members according to Agency policy and procedure.
- Assists in screening and interviewing of clinical job applicants and makes hiring recommendation to the Administrator.
- Manages, oversees, and directs the onboarding and clinical orientation of new personnel in coordination with Human Resources Officer and Clinical Educator.
