About the Role:
WBM INC is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our CNC machine shop team full time in Wheeling, IL. Responsibilities:
- Inspect CNC machined parts and components for dimensional accuracy and conformance to specifications
- Utilize precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, CMM, and gauges
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T tolerances
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality control records
- Identify and communicate non-conforming parts to production and engineering teams
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action processes
- Perform in-process and final inspection of machined components
Requirements:
- Prior experience in quality inspection within a CNC machining or precision manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and CMM
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T symbols
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Familiarity with ISO or AS9100 quality management systems is a plus
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with production teams
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or degree preferred

Compensation: $20.00 - $20.00 per hour
