About the Role:

Sparkle grooming Co is looking for a passionate and skilled Dog Groomer to join our team in Jacksonville, FL! This is a fantastic opportunity to do what you love every day — working with dogs and making them look and feel their best. If you have a gentle touch, a keen eye for style, and a love for animals, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Perform full-service dog grooming including bathing, drying, brushing, and haircuts
Trim nails, clean ears, and provide other finishing grooming services
Assess each dog's coat condition and recommend appropriate grooming treatments
Handle dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments with care and patience
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe grooming environment
Communicate with pet owners about their dog's grooming needs and preferences and memberships
Monitor pets for signs of illness, injury, or unusual behavior and report concerns
Must be able to learn and to communicate to the cleints the services Sparkle offers and dicuss prices and memberships

Requirements:

Previous professional dog grooming experience preferred
Proficiency in breed-specific cuts and grooming styles
Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
Knowledge of grooming tools, equipment, and safe handling techniques
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Reliable, punctual, and a true animal lover
