- Daily Janitorial dues as assigned in Housekeeping Checklist to include:
- Dishwashing
- Laundry
- Sweeping
- Vacuuming
- Spot cleaning walls
- Mopping
- Cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces and touch points
- Cleaning lobby, hallway, classroom interior glass and mirrors
- Emptying wastepaper and trash receptacles and discarding in dumpster
- Other duties as assigned by Center Director
- Weekly and Monthly Deep Cleaning as assigned in Housekeeping Checklist
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies
- Refresh seasonal décor and lobby and classroom displays
- Occasional evening and weekend set up and cleaning for family and community events
- Occasional outdoor cleaning and upkeep (entrance sweeping, exterior window cleaning, etc.)
- Report all building problems to Center Director
- Regularly lift, carry, and hold children weighing up to 40 lbs. including while bending, kneeling, or squatting to child level.
- Stand and walk for the majority of an assigned shift
- Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, squat, and sit on the floor and be able to get up quickly and repeatedly throughout the day.
- Push and pull classroom equipment such as cribs, cots, strollers, and furniture as needed.
- See and hear well enough to actively supervise children across the classroom and outdoor play areas at all times.
- Use hands and fingers for operating cleaning classroom equipment.
- Climb stairs and safely navigate indoor and outdoor center spaces, including uneven playground surfaces.
- Tolerate exposure to typical classroom and outdoor conditions, including noise levels associated with young children and seasonal outdoor weather during outdoor play.
