About the Role:
ComForCare Home Health Care - Clarksville is looking for a compassionate and skilled Caregiver trained in Hoyer Lift operation to join their dedicated team in Clarksville, TN. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Hoyer Lift and other transfer equipment to assist clients with mobility and positioning
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Support clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote independence and dignity
- Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Build trusting, compassionate relationships with clients and their families
- Maintain accurate care logs and documentation in accordance with company standards
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience and training with Hoyer Lift and mechanical transfer devices required
- Prior caregiving, home health aide (HHA), or certified nursing assistant (CNA) experience preferred
- Ability to assist with transfers, repositioning, and physical patient handling
- Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes in the Clarksville, TN area
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
