Job Summary
We are seeking a Nurse/Registered Nurse to join our Urogynecology practice. In this role, you will primarily be creating and managing a plan of care for individual patients. To succeed, you should have demonstrated knowledge and skill in current nursing practices as well as a strong desire to help patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments: obtain medical histories, record vitals, document allergies and medications.
- Assist doctors with minor in-office procedures and exams.
- Handle patient phone calls, triage, and follow-up messages.
- Manage prescription refill requests.
- Calling patients with lab results.
- Perform in-office diagnostic testing.
- Deliver pre- and post-procedure education and discharge instructions to ensure understanding and compliance.
- Accurately document treatments, consent, and clinical notes in the electronic medical record and communicate follow-up plans to patients and providers
Qualifications
- Previous experience in office setting is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and client care skills
