What You'll Do
- Complete work orders for in-unit repairs: plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, doors/locks, drywall
- Perform unit make-readies (turns) between resident move-outs and move-ins
- Maintain community common areas, amenities, and curb appeal (light landscaping, pressure washing, pool area upkeep)
- Respond to and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and plumbing issues; know when to call a licensed vendor
- Inspect and maintain fire/life-safety systems and schedule repairs as needed
- Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours emergency maintenance
- Keep maintenance shop, tools, and inventory organized and accounted for
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years of maintenance experience (multifamily/apartment experience preferred but not required)
- Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in varying weather
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Valid driver's license
- HVAC certification (EPA 608) a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8am-5pm
- Rotating on-call for after-hours emergencies
