- Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and employee documentation
- Handle day-to-day HR and personnel matters for the office team
- Oversee bookkeeping and accounting processes using QuickBooks Online
- Manage accounts receivable and collections, including actively following up on outstanding balances
- Oversee or process payroll and maintain accurate payroll records
- Review invoices, payments, customer accounts, and financial records for accuracy
- Monitor job-related financial information and assist with job costing
- Review financial and franchise performance reports
- Maintain organized and accurate company, employee, customer, and job records
- Help develop and maintain efficient office procedures and internal controls
- Ensure administrative deadlines and company procedures are consistently followed
- Work closely with ownership and department managers to resolve operational and financial issues
- Help maintain a professional, accountable, and high-performing office environment
- 5+ years of office management, accounting/bookkeeping, or similar administrative leadership experience
- Previous experience managing and supervising employees
- Strong hands-on QuickBooks Online experience
- Bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Accounts receivable and collections experience
- Payroll experience
- Experience with hiring, onboarding, employee documentation, and other HR responsibilities
- Strong understanding of professional office procedures and internal controls
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to learn new software and systems quickly
- Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
