Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Associate/Carpet Cut Table Operator is responsible for cutting and preparing carpet materials according to specifications. This role involves operating cutting machines, inspecting products, and ensuring quality control throughout the production process.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate cutting machines to fabricate carpet pieces as per orders.
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy at various production stages.
- Cut damaged sections from carpet rolls and manage inventory of undamaged materials.
- Collaborate with team members to support various production tasks as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
- Attention to detail and strong manual dexterity.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
Work Environment
- Typically works in a manufacturing facility with exposure to machinery and materials.
- May require standing for extended periods and lifting heavy materials.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Drivers License
Physical Requirements:
- Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, bending, climbing, and lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward
- Warehouse environment can expose Team Members to temperature fluctuations (hot/cold)
- Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently; lift up to 70 lbs. occasionally
