Position Summary:
We are looking for a motivated, outgoing, and dependable Part-Time Marketing & Community Outreach Assistant to help grow our agency’s presence in the local community.

This position will focus on prospecting, community outreach, relationship building, social media, customer follow-up, referrals, and local marketing activities. The ideal candidate enjoys meeting people, is comfortable talking on the phone and in person, and represents the agency with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Key Responsibilities:
Telemarketing & Lead Generation:
  • Make outbound calls to prospective customers and local businesses.
  • Follow up with leads, prospects, and existing customers.
  • Identify potential sales opportunities and schedule appointments for the agency team.
  • Maintain accurate records of contacts, follow-ups, and results.
Business-to-Business Marketing:
  • Visit local businesses to introduce the agency and develop referral relationships.
  • Establish relationships with business owners, managers, and employees.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-referrals and community partnerships. 
  • Deliver marketing materials and promote agency services.
Apartment & Community Marketing:
  • Visit local apartment communities and establish relationships with property managers and leasing teams.
  • Coordinate opportunities to provide information or marketing materials to residents.
  • Develop ongoing relationships with apartment communities as potential referral sources.
Community Events & Networking:
  • Represent the agency at community events, networking events, fairs, festivals, and other local activities.
  • Assist with planning and staffing agency-sponsored events.
  • Attend ribbon cuttings, chamber events, and other business/community functions.
  • Build relationships with local organizations and community leaders.
Social Media
  • Create and post engaging content on the agency’s social media platforms.
  • Photograph and share agency events, community involvement, team activities, and customer-focused content.
  • Maintain a consistent social media presence.
  • Monitor engagement and identify opportunities to increase local visibility.
Customer Follow-Up
  • Contact existing customers to request Google reviews following positive customer experiences.
  • Ask satisfied customers for referrals and identify potential referral opportunities.
  • Follow up with customers after appointments or agency interactions.
  • Help maintain strong customer relationships and encourage continued engagement with the agency.
Performance Expectations:
Success in this position will be measured by activity, relationship development, and
results, including:

● Number of outbound calls and meaningful conversations.
● Number of business-to-business visits.
● Number of apartment/community visits.
● Appointments and leads generated.
● New referral relationships established.
● Google reviews generated.
● Customer referrals generated.
● Community and networking events attended.
● Social media posts and engagement.
● Follow-up activity and completion of assigned marketing tasks.

The Goal of the Position:

The primary goal is to increase the agency’s visibility in the community, develop new relationships, generate qualified leads and appointments, increase customer referrals and Google reviews, and create new opportunities for agency growth.

This is a people-focused position for someone who enjoys getting out in the community, meeting people, making connections, and helping the agency grow.
