About the Role:
Health Wealth Pharmacy is seeking a licensed PRN Staff Pharmacist to provide coverage on an as-needed basis. This is a good opportunity for a pharmacist looking for a flexible schedule while supporting a growing pharmacy operation.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance
- Counsel patients on proper medication use, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions
- Verify and review prescriptions submitted by healthcare providers for accuracy and appropriateness
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy laws
- Support pharmacy technicians and staff to ensure efficient daily pharmacy operations
- Monitor and manage controlled substance dispensing in accordance with DEA regulations
Requirements:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution
- Active and unrestricted Texas State Pharmacist License required
- Previous retail, compounding, or clinical pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of drug interactions, pharmacology, and pharmacy law
- Excellent patient communication and counseling skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a flexible PRN schedule
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Compounding experience is a plus

Compensation: $62.00 - $65.00 per hour
