Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Hair Stylist to join our team, providing clients with flawless haircuts, hairstyles, and hair colors – helping them to look their best! As a Hair Stylist, you will provide hair cuts, blowouts, and hairstyling using basic and advanced techniques. You’ll discuss the best products and hairstyles for each individual client’s needs and preferences. Most importantly, you will make it your goal to ensure that every customer leaves our salon feeling great about their new cut or hairstyle and happy with the services you provided.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate customers’ face shape, hair features, and personal preferences to recommend appropriate haircuts, hairstyles, and blowouts
- Wash hair at hair washing stations with appropriate products
- Apply various hair treatment products
- Execute flawless haircuts, blowouts, trims, and shaves
- Apply highlights, ombre, balayage, all over color and other hair coloring techniques
- Provide customers with a wide range of hair styling options, from formal to casual, blowouts to updos.
Qualifications
- **Successful completion of a cosmetology school is required**
- Proven experience as a stylist, hairdresser, or similar role is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of hair cutting techniques and best practices
- Skilled at hair coloring, straightening, blowouts and curling techniques
- Excellent communication and client consultation skills
- Familiar with a variety of treatment products
- Ability to thrive in a high-energy, team and sales-oriented salon environment
- Reliable, punctual, and professional with a passion for the beauty industry
- Up-to-date with trends in fashion and beauty
- A plus if you can do makeup as well!
