Children's Activity Instructor (Full-Time)
What You'll Do:
- Songs, games, dance, obstacle courses, and imaginative play
- Introductory gymnastics, tumbling, balance, and coordination activities
- Confidence-building activities and birthday parties
- Keeping our gym clean, organized, and safe
- Greet trial families, explain memberships, and invite them to enroll
- Follow up with trial families and prospective members by phone, text, or email
- Answer calls, respond to inquiries, and help families find classes
- Participate in farmers markets, festivals, preschool visits, and free community classes
What We're Looking For
- Enthusiasm, humor, patience, and a genuine love of children
- Confidence leading groups and connecting with parents
- Comfort speaking with prospective families and making follow-up calls
- Reliability, teamwork, and a willingness to learn
- Ability to perform an active job involving standing, bending, and lifting up to 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
Schedule & Benefits
- 32–40 hours/week, subject to scheduling needs and availability
- Weekend availability required; Monday afternoon team meetings required
- Flexible scheduling where business needs allow; occasional off-site events
- $14–$18/hour, based on qualifications and experience
