KRE Security, LLC is hiring School Event Security Officers for seasonal school events throughout Fleetwood, Leesport, and surrounding areas.
Event schedules vary, and we are looking for dependable individuals who want the flexibility to pick up shifts when they are available. Some assignments may provide steady work throughout the season based on client needs and your availability.

WHAT DOES A SECURITY OFFICER DO?
Responsibilities may include:
- Maintain a visible, professional security presence
- Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas
- Assist with crowd management and pedestrian flow
- Check credentials, tickets, or access points when required
- Help enforce event policies and safety procedures
- Provide directions and professional assistance to guests
- Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity
- Report safety concerns, incidents, or policy violations
- Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
- Complete required activity or incident reports
- Follow instructions from KRE supervisors, clients, and event management
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for people who are:
- Dependable and punctual
- Professional and comfortable working with the public
- Able to work around crowds and busy environments
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and varying event schedules
- Calm and professional when things get busy
- Able to communicate clearly and work as part of a team
Previous experience in security, military, law enforcement, customer service, hospitality, or event work is helpful but not required.
IMPORTANT SCHOOL ASSIGNMENT REQUIREMENTS
Because these positions may involve working in Pennsylvania school environments, applicants must meet all applicable employment, licensing, client, and school requirements and successfully complete required pre-employment screening, clearances, and state-mandated training.
Please be aware: Under Pennsylvania's Private Detective Act of 1953, certain criminal convictions may make an individual ineligible for security work. Felony convictions and certain misdemeanor convictions can be automatic disqualifiers. Eligibility is subject to applicable Pennsylvania law and the required licensing/background review.
Applicants should understand that meeting KRE's general employment requirements does not guarantee eligibility for every school assignment. Additional school-specific clearances, training, and client requirements may apply.
FLEXIBLE SEASONAL WORK
This is school event work, so assignments and hours will vary based on client needs. The more availability you have, the more opportunities you may have to pick up shifts.
