Must have strong hands-on experience building scalable backend services, REST APIs, Kafka-based event processing, batch applications, document/file processing solutions, and cloud integrations.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend / Microservices Engineer to design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications built using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, event-driven architecture, and AWS.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience building scalable backend services, REST APIs, Kafka-based event processing, batch applications, document/file processing solutions, and cloud integrations. Experience working with healthcare, insurance, financial services, or other enterprise applications involving sensitive data is preferred.

Document Processing
·         PDF generation and processing
·         iText / PDFBox or similar PDF libraries
·         Large-volume document and file processing

Experience
·         6+ years of software development experience, with strong hands-on Java backend development experience.
·         3+ years of experience with Spring Boot and microservices.
·         Hands-on experience with Kafka or another enterprise messaging/event-streaming platform.
·         Experience developing and supporting production-grade enterprise applications.

Compensation: $58.00 per hour
