About Bridge Marina
Bridge Marina runs two of New Jersey's most active marina operations, one on Lake Hopatcong (freshwater) and one in Highlands on Sandy Hook Bay (saltwater). We're a full boating ecosystem: boater education, training, rentals, a boat club, boat sales, service, and storage, year round, all feeding into each other. Most marinas do one or two of these well. We do all of them, and we're growing.

How We Operate this Role:  We believe in learning as we go, and that shows up in how this role, and our social media, actually works. You'll post good content, then see what the platform tells you: views, likes, comments, shares. You'll bring that feedback back to the team and our Content Creator with ideas for what to make or edit next, post again, and see how it lands. When something clearly resonates, you'll help turn it into a paid ad tied to whatever campaign or funnel we're running. Then you do it again, a little sharper each time. It's a genuinely collaborative process, and content oversight, the calendar, email, and ads all follow that same rhythm across different channels.

What You'll Do
  • Content oversight is a large part of the role. You'll schedule out 60+ pieces of content per day, using our team's scheduling software, across our five main, active platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Linked In) as well as a focus on Google Business Profiles, X, Pinterest and Threads). Most raw assets come from our team, and your job is to tailor those into platform-specific posts and get them posted. Review ongoing content daily for anything that's overperforming, seek to understand why, and share that understanding with the team so it shapes what gets created and edited next. Run ads behind our best-performing content and analyze how they do.
  • Content calendar strategy is how you'll run the operation day to day. You'll own the brand's content calendar, make sure what we're posting actually serves our strategy, and adjust when it's not working. That includes watching social platforms for trends worth jumping on, or worth skipping, and working with the team in advance so production lines up with the calendar.
  • Email marketing runs about 1 to 2 times a week depending on season. Treat it as another platform: send, learn, fix, repeat loop, often paired with our best-performing social video. You'll own the email calendar and strategy, work with the team and templates to draft emails, schedule them, and review analytics for what to adjust next time.
  • Boat inventory oversight happens 1 to 2 times a week depending on season. You'll own our online boat listings, make sure photos, descriptions, and details are accurate, and keep everything current.
  • Hands-on content creation comes up occasionally or 1 to 2 times per week depending on season. This connects directly to the content oversight above: you need to know how to pull a still for a standalone post, assemble stills or short clips into a finished piece (carousel, single post, short-form video), add captions and finishing touches, then schedule and monitor it.
  • Website calendar updates happen about once a week, keeping our events calendar accurate and current.

You're part of the marketing team driving the business model and culture here, not a standalone content poster. You'll work closely with the marketing team day to day, and connect with the rest of the business as needed to understand what's actually happening on the ground, so the content reflects it.

Some Skills, Knowledge, and Characteristics for This Role Are:
  • Genuinely collaborative; this is a pod, not a solo seat, and thrives on building on other people's work.
  • Sharp communicator; can translate and communicate performance data into clear, specific direction for a creative team.
  • Organized: able to run a 60+ post a day, multi-platform calendar without losing track of what's live and where.
  • Self-directed; comfortable setting daily priorities and getting content out without waiting on approval for every post.
  • Analytical and curious; wants to know why something worked, not just that it did.
  • Calm under volume and moving workload; doesn't get rattled by a full plate.
  • Attention to detail: careful and thorough, especially where accuracy matters (listings, captions, scheduling) but also understands that sometimes 1 greater than 0.
  • Personally engaged with social media and aware of what's trending in the broader culture.
  • Open to change; comfortable adjusting direction as data and trends shift.
  • Friendly, dependable, and a strong fit for a small, close-knit team. Guiding oneself without constant supervision and getting things done.
Requirements
  • 2+ year experience managing social media accounts at meaningful volume and scale.
  • 1 year Experience running paid social ads and reading campaign performance data.
  • Proficiency with posting and editing tools
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms and scheduling tools.
  • Boating, outdoor recreation, or hospitality industry experience preferred, not required.
  • Work schedule: full-time, 40 hours per week, with flexibility.

We offer health care benefits, retirement benefits with company contribution, vacation benefits, sick time benefits, and the added perks that come with working at a marina, boat access, staff events on the water, and more.

Starting compensation is listed on this posting and varies based on your skills, ability, and experience. Overtime and incentives are available. Advancement and increases are available and encouraged.

Flexible work from home options available.

Compensation: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
