About the Role:
Premier Medical Clinic Inc is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing healthcare team in Tallahassee, FL. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care including vital signs, wound care, injections, and medication administration
- Assist physicians and advanced practitioners during patient examinations and procedures
- Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records in the EMR system
- Triage patients and communicate changes in patient condition to supervising providers
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
- Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and basic diagnostic procedures as needed
- Ensure exam rooms are stocked, clean, and prepared for patient visits
Requirements:
- Active Florida LPN license in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Prior clinical or outpatient medical office experience preferred
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills
- Compassionate, team-oriented, and professional demeanor
