Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Nurse Manager – Operating Room to support daily OR operations, staffing, patient flow, and staff development. This role works closely with the Nurse Manager and surgical team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily OR operations, staffing, and patient flow.
- Lead, coach, and develop OR nursing staff.
- Support regulatory and survey readiness.
- Improve patient satisfaction, workflow, and departmental efficiency.
- Assist the Nurse Manager with scheduling, reporting, and administrative duties.
- Serve as a clinical and operational resource for the surgical team.
Required Qualifications
- BSN required.
- Active Maryland RN license.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- 2+ years of Operating Room nursing experience.
- 1+ year of leadership experience.
- Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Compensation: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
