Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech therapy, particularly in working with pediatric patients. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Provide early intervention services for children with speech and language delays.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver effective speech therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support the patient’s communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Stay current with advancements in speech therapy practices and techniques.
- Educate patients and families about speech disorders and therapeutic strategies.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Therapist.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech therapy.
- Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric patients is preferred.
- Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and early intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- A passion for providing high-quality patient care and improving communication skills in children.
Job Types: Contract, PRN, Per diem
Work Location: On the road
Compensation: $90.00 - $100.00 per hour
