Position Overview
The State of Arizona – AZDWR is seeking a Salesforce Developer to design, develop, implement, and maintain enterprise applications supporting agency operations. The role will work closely with Business Analysts, functional users, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, maintain applications, and support Salesforce, MuleSoft, SQL, and Oracle platforms.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience as a Lead Developer on one or more Salesforce implementations
- 7+ years of developer experience or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- 3+ years of SQL experience
- Active Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification
- Strong Salesforce development, configuration, and administration
- Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions
- Experience assessing existing systems and refactoring/redesigning solutions
- Experience with Salesforce APIs and integrations
- Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server
- Experience with Agile methodologies and source control
Preferred / Plus Skills
- Salesforce Certified Public Sector Solutions Consultant – highly preferred
- Salesforce Advanced Developer / Platform Developer II certification
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Copado
- Experience with OmniStudio for interactive and guided user experiences
- Advanced MuleSoft integration experience
- Experience with REST APIs / API design and implementation
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain applications across Salesforce, MuleSoft, SQL, and Oracle platforms.
- Analyze and reverse-engineer existing applications and code to identify improvements and develop enhancements.
- Assess existing systems and refactor/redesign solutions for improved performance and maintainability.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, functional users, and stakeholders to understand requirements and develop technical solutions.
- Participate in planning, design, development, testing, and implementation of new applications.
- Develop and maintain Salesforce Public Sector Solutions applications and APIs.
- Design and implement integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Support application interfaces and ensure compliance with technology directives, regulations, and agency requirements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, application specifications, and development standards.
- Participate in Agile development processes and maintain effective source control/versioning practices.
- Provide application troubleshooting, maintenance, and production support.
- Manage multiple priorities and deliver solutions within project deadlines.
