Sandwich Maker – Paris Baguette
Pay: $18.40/hour + tips

About the Role:
Paris Baguette is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and organized Sandwich Maker to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing sandwiches, wraps, salads, and catering orders while maintaining high standards for quality, freshness, cleanliness, and food safety.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other menu items according to Paris Baguette recipes and standards
- Complete daily food preparation and ensure ingredients are ready for service
- Prepare and assist with catering orders, including larger-volume sandwich, wrap, and salad orders
- Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards consistently
- Monitor inventory and help identify ingredients and supplies that need to be reordered
- Assist with receiving and putting away deliveries from Sysco and other vendors
- Stock and organize ingredients and supplies when deliveries arrive
- Maintain an organized walk-in cooler and freezer, including properly storing and rotating newly delivered products
- Properly label, date, store, and rotate food products using appropriate food-safety procedures
- Restock the sandwich station and kitchen throughout the shift
- Monitor product quality and freshness and help minimize unnecessary food waste
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workstation
- Clean and sanitize equipment, counters, prep areas, and kitchen surfaces
- Sweep and mop kitchen and work areas as needed
- Work efficiently with the rest of the team during busy periods
Requirements:
- Previous sandwich-making, food prep, café, bakery, restaurant, or kitchen experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Reliable and punctual
- Weekend availability required
- Comfortable with early-morning shifts
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Strong organization and cleanliness standards
- Knowledge of basic food-safety practices
- Able to assist with stocking, deliveries, and organizing cooler/freezer inventory
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move products and supply boxes as required for the position
- Must be at least 18 years old
