Position Overview
Senior Helpers of Richmond is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Business Development & Sales Representative to help expand our services and strengthen partnerships within the healthcare and senior care community.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building professional relationships, visiting healthcare facilities, and connecting with organizations that serve seniors and individuals needing in-home care.
The ideal candidate will have familiarity with the home healthcare, senior care, or healthcare industry, along with strong communication and networking skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit healthcare facilities, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, assisted living communities, and other referral sources to establish and maintain professional relationships.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with healthcare professionals, discharge planners, social workers, and facility administrators.
- Promote Senior Helpers' in-home care services and communicate the benefits of our care programs.
- Identify new business opportunities and referral sources within the assigned territory.
- Conduct regular facility visits and follow up with potential referral partners.
- Represent Senior Helpers at community events, healthcare networking events, and industry meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of facility visits, referral relationships, and business development activities.
- Collaborate with the operations and care teams to support client referrals and service growth.
- Meet established business development and referral goals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, business development, marketing, or healthcare outreach preferred.
- Familiarity with the in-home care, home healthcare, senior care, or broader healthcare industry.
- Experience visiting healthcare facilities or working with healthcare professionals is a plus.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
- Professional presentation and the ability to represent the company effectively.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel regularly to healthcare facilities and referral partners.
