About the Role:
Great Harvest Bread Co. in Herndon, VA is looking for passionate, friendly individuals to join our team as Customer Service Representatives and/or Bakers! Whether you're looking for part-time or full-time work, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a warm, welcoming bakery environment where fresh bread and great people come together every day.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, positive attitude in a fast-paced bakery setting
- Take customer orders, process transactions, and handle cash and card payments accurately
- Assist in the daily baking and production of fresh breads, sweets, and baked goods
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in both front-of-house and kitchen areas
- Stock and merchandise baked goods, ensuring fresh product is always available for customers
- Educate customers on menu offerings, ingredients, and daily specials
- Support the team during opening and closing procedures as needed
Requirements:
- Previous customer service, retail, or food service experience preferred
- Baking or food production experience is a plus but not required — we love training enthusiastic learners!
- Ability to work early morning, weekend, and/or holiday shifts
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for hospitality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and a true team player
- Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one

Compensation: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
