We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Procurement Manager to oversee sourcing, purchasing, inventory planning, and supplier relationships across our brewing operations.

Position Summary
The Procurement Manager will lead all purchasing activities for brewery production, packaging operations and facility maintenance. This role is responsible for ensuring consistent product availability, controlling costs, negotiating supplier agreements, and maintaining optimal inventory levels while supporting production schedules and business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for brewing ingredients, packaging materials, equipment, maintenance supplies, and operational goods.
  • Source and negotiate contracts with vendors to achieve cost savings, quality standards, and reliable delivery schedules.
  • Manage supplier relationships and evaluate vendor performance on pricing, quality, and service.
  • Forecast purchasing needs based on production schedules, sales trends, and inventory requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with brewing, warehouse, and operations teams to prevent shortages and excess stock.
  • Analyze spending patterns and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Maintain purchase orders, vendor records, contracts, and procurement documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Coordinate inbound logistics and shipping schedules with vendors and distribution partners.
  • Support annual budgeting and provide purchasing reports and KPI analysis to leadership.
  • Assist with capital equipment purchases and major operational projects as needed.
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or inventory management experience.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Experience with inventory control, forecasting, and purchasing systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business software platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
  • Experience in the brewing, manufacturing, or hospitality industries.
  • Knowledge of brewery raw materials, packaging supplies, and production operations.
  • Experience with ERP, inventory management, or procurement software.
  • Professional certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or APICS credentials.
