One Shot Automation LLC is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Project Engineer – Automations to join our growing team in San Antonio, TX. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement automated systems and solutions for client projects
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables from concept through commissioning
- Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and other automation control systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, and software engineers
- Conduct site assessments, system testing, and troubleshooting during installation and startup
- Prepare technical documentation, project reports, and as-built drawings
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering (or related field)
- 2+ years of experience in automation, controls engineering, or systems integration
- Proficiency with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent)
- Experience with HMI/SCADA systems and industrial networking protocols
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to travel to client sites locally and regionally as needed
