About the Role
Qualicare Home Care Central NJ is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Homemaker-Home Health Aides (CHHAs) to join our growing team in Skillman, NJ.
We are looking for caring professionals who enjoy helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference through personalized care and companionship.
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
- Support clients with walking, mobility, and transfers.
- Provide medication reminders according to individualized care plans.
- Prepare meals and assist with eating and hydration.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
- Observe and report changes in clients' condition or well-being.
- Document daily care activities and communicate with the care team.
- Assist with errands and appointments as outlined in the care plan.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey CHHA certification required.
- Previous home care experience preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, reliable, and professional.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Reliable transportation to client locations.
- Ability to follow care plans and agency procedures.
- Flexible availability for assigned shifts.
