About the Position
Disaster Kleenup Specialists, Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Janitorial Technician to help maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of our company buildings.
This position is responsible for cleaning multiple company locations, including Disaster Kleenup Specialists, FRSTeam by South Bay of Monterey, Floor Store USA, and Cypress Cabinets.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and can work independently while following an established cleaning schedule.
Responsibilities
- Clean offices, reception areas, showrooms, conference rooms, break rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
- Vacuum carpets and rugs.
- Sweep and mop hard-surface floors.
- Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, counters, fixtures, and mirrors.
- Restock paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and other supplies.
- Clean break-room counters, tables, sinks, appliances, and other surfaces.
- Dust furniture, shelving, windowsills, doors, and other surfaces.
- Clean interior glass, doors, and entry areas.
- Spot-clean walls, doors, cabinets, and other surfaces as needed.
- Keep janitorial equipment, cleaning supplies, and storage areas clean and organized.
- Notify management when cleaning supplies need to be reordered.
- Report leaks, damage, safety concerns, or other building issues to management.
- Follow proper procedures for the safe use and storage of cleaning products.
- Perform periodic deep-cleaning projects as assigned.
- Travel between assigned company locations to complete scheduled cleaning duties.
- Follow company security and building-access procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial, commercial cleaning, housekeeping, or similar experience preferred.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow an established cleaning schedule and complete assigned duties within the scheduled work period.
- Professional and respectful when working around employees, customers, visitors, and company property.
- Ability to safely use standard janitorial equipment and cleaning products.
- Reliable transportation to travel between assigned company locations.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record if driving is required for the position.
Physical Requirements
This position requires regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and repetitive cleaning activities. The employee must be able to safely perform normal janitorial duties, including handling cleaning equipment, supplies, and trash containers.

Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
