Complete Description:
The Project Coordinator supports the client Program, managing new building applications and compliance with existing buildings. This role facilitates communication between building owners, the Department of Buildings, and the Fire Marshal’s office, ensuring program activities follow established workflows. Responsibilities include documentation, reporting, and oversight of program deliverables. The position will be reporting to either the client or the radio system manager.
CONTRACT JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:

Coordinate and support IBW team tasks, including communication with building owners, integrators, testing companies, DOB, Fire Marshals and other agencies related.

1.         Track program deliverables, monitor requests, respond, and assign resources as needed.

2.         Schedule, assign, and track client commitments and deliverables.

3.         Ensure authorizations, acceptance tests, and annual inspections are executed and documented.

4.         Support planning for systems development, maintenance, upgrades, and IT services (non-technical).

5.         Monitor annual testing deadlines, send reminders, and issue compliance notices.

6.         Work with Fire Marshal Office and DOB to enforce compliance and ensure IBW requirements are met for occupancy permits.

7.         Provide monthly program reports, including status updates and metrics.

8.         Review and recommend approval of invoices related to BDA monitoring services.

9.         Ensure maintenance of client-managed and District-owned BDAs.

10.       Coordinate testing with Motorola system managers as needed.

11.       Escalate and manage interference incidents, including communication with the FCC.

12.       Communicate incidents to stakeholders per existing escalation procedures.

13.       Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and align program objectives.

 

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in management or related field or equivalent experience
Compensation: $51.00 - $51.00 per hour
