Entry-Level Insurance Representative

Matt Barczyk Allstate Agency is looking for a friendly, motivated Entry-Level Insurance Representative to join our in-office team in Erie, PA.
You don't need previous insurance experience or even a traditional sales background to be successful in this role. We're looking for someone who is easy to talk to, comfortable having conversations, and genuinely enjoys working with people.
If you've worked in customer service, retail, hospitality, banking, or as a server or teller, your experience could translate very well to this opportunity.
What You'll Do
- Talk with customers to understand their needs and help them find the right insurance solutions.
- Follow up with leads, prospects, and existing customers.
- Make outbound calls and stay persistent with follow-up.
- Build relationships and create a positive customer experience.
- Explain insurance options in a simple, easy-to-understand way.
- Identify opportunities to provide additional coverage when appropriate.
- Keep customer information and follow-up activities organized.
- Work toward individual and team goals.
What We're Looking For
- No insurance experience required.
- Sales experience is helpful, but not necessary.
- A friendly, conversational personality and the ability to connect easily with people.
- Comfortable talking with customers on the phone.
- Willingness to make calls, follow up consistently, and stay organized.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and coachable.
- Customer service experience is a plus — tellers, servers, retail associates, and other people-focused professionals are encouraged to apply!
- Willingness to obtain an insurance license if needed.
