About the Role:
Proner and Proner is looking for a talented and driven Bilingual (Spanish/English) Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic personal injury legal team in New York, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference for clients navigating some of the most important moments of their lives, while growing your career in a fast-paced litigation environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all phases of personal injury litigation, from intake through trial preparation
- Communicate directly with Spanish-speaking clients, providing updates and gathering case information
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and demand letters
- Manage and organize case files, medical records, and evidence documentation
- Coordinate with medical providers, experts, and third-party vendors on behalf of clients
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings to support attorney case strategy
- Calendar and track deadlines, court dates, and statute of limitations using case management software
Requirements:
- Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and verbal) is required
- 2+ years of paralegal experience in personal injury or civil litigation
- Familiarity with New York court procedures, e-filing systems, and litigation timelines
- Strong drafting skills for legal correspondence, pleadings, and discovery documents
- Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Paralegal certificate or Associate's/Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies preferred
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Compassionate communicator with a client-first mindset

Compensation: $65,000.00 per year
