Position Overview
The State of Ohio DRC is seeking a Junior Tester 2 (TST2) to support the Project Management Office. The Tester will be responsible for planning, creating, executing, and documenting product and system tests, supporting release control processes, analyzing enterprise application data, and collaborating with technical teams.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience creating test models for product testing and release control, including test plans, test data, and test scripts.
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing data elements within enterprise applications and determining relationships between data elements.
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing functional and non-functional business requirements.
  • 3+ years of experience with Agile projects.
  • Experience with requirements gathering methodologies.
  • Experience using Git/version control tools.
  • Experience with SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team while meeting deadlines.
  • Experience with Agile toolsets, including Git and Azure.
Key Responsibilities

  • Create test models, test plans, test data, and test scripts for product testing and release control.
  • Execute assembly and product tests.
  • Define test plans, acceptance criteria, and entry/exit criteria.
  • Analyze functional and non-functional business requirements.
  • Analyze enterprise application data elements and their relationships.
  • Assist with planning, creation, and control of test environments.
  • Resolve testing process questions and issues.
  • Update and test release installation procedures.
  • Provide accurate status updates and meet assigned timelines.
  • Determine work estimates and schedules.
  • Maintain quality standards and complete assigned tasks.
  • Work with team members and enhance testing, technical, and business knowledge.
  • Stay current with relevant industry developments and testing processes.
