About the Role:
Natale Building Corp is looking for a detail-oriented Construction Bookkeeper to join our team in Clarence, NY. This is a great opportunity to bring your financial expertise to a dynamic construction environment where your work directly supports the success of every project we build.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Process subcontractor payments, vendor invoices, and job cost tracking
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate general ledger entries
- Monitor project budgets and prepare financial reports for management
- Maintain organized records of contracts, lien waivers, and financial documents
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure accurate job costing and budget tracking
Requirements:
- 2+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in construction or a related industry
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar construction accounting software
- Strong understanding of job costing, WIP schedules, and construction billing
- Experience with AIA billing and subcontractor compliance is a plus
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
