About Alta Roofing
Alta Roofing is a roofing contractor based in Sandy, Utah, serving communities throughout Utah. We believe in growing leaders from within. If you have solid hands-on roofing experience and you're ready for your first leadership role, we'll give you the training and support to succeed as a Foreman.
What You'll Do
- Lead a small roofing crew on day-to-day jobs, with support from senior foremen and project managers
- Organize daily tasks and keep crews on schedule
- Install, repair, and replace roofing systems to company and code standards
- Make sure every job site follows OSHA safety rules, including fall protection
- Check work quality before jobs are signed off
- Communicate job progress and issues to your project manager
- Keep job sites clean and organized and track materials
- Learn estimating, scheduling, and customer communication over time
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years of hands-on roofing experience
- Good working knowledge of roof installation and repair (shingle, metal, or low-slope)
- Interest in leading a crew. Experience as a lead hand or crew lead is a plus, but not required
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Strong commitment to safety. OSHA 10 is a plus, and we'll help you get it
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Able to lift 75+ lbs, work at heights, and work outdoors in all weather
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Compensation: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
