Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented School Vision Screening Technician to conduct vision screenings for elementary school students in Akron, Ohio. Candidates with prior experience administering vision screenings in a school setting are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct vision screenings for elementary school students.
- Assist students with screening procedures and provide clear instructions.
- Maintain accurate screening records and documentation.
- Follow established screening protocols and student safety guidelines.
- Communicate screening results and concerns to appropriate school staff.
- Maintain screening equipment and protect student privacy.
Qualifications
- Previous experience administering elementary vision screenings preferred.
- Experience working with children in a school or healthcare setting preferred.
- Must meet any applicable Ohio licensing, certification, or training requirements for the role.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow screening procedures accurately and work effectively with school staff.
Compensation: $32.20 - $36.10 per hour
