Who we are

CareerPlug's mission is to help franchises build winning teams, and we do that by helping them fill the gap in their playbook with a systematic approach to hiring and retention. Our innovative recruiting and HR software serves over 60,000 growing companies.

We believe that people are the heart of our business and are committed to building one of the best places to work – anywhere. To us, that means putting care and purpose into our hiring process, providing meaningful development and training opportunities for our team members, and living our core values every day.

CareerPlug is proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse team. Our executive team takes responsibility for creating a safe and welcoming environment built on inclusion and respect for all.

What are we looking for?

CareerPlug grows through partners. We sign franchise brands, associations and other networks, and their locations and members choose CareerPlug for hiring and retention. As a Franchisor Business Consultant (internally, we call this role Partner Growth Manager), you are the main point of contact for a book of these partnerships. Your job is to turn each partnership into paid locations — and keep them.

You'll pick up new partners from our Sales team, lead their launch and training, and then build and run the plan that grows paid adoption across their network. You'll earn the trust of the brand's leadership and field team, win over their most influential franchisees, and use account data to show partners where hiring is working and where it can get better.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Own a book of franchise and association partners and grow paid adoption and paid locations against a quarterly quota
  • Build and run a strategic adoption plan for each partner, adjusted from account-level data
  • Lead new partner launches: kickoff calls, job template workshops, home-office trainings and network launch sessions
  • Hold regular partner meetings and ROI reviews with brand leaders (often VP of Operations or HR Director) and field teams
  • Build relationships with influential franchisees and members so they champion CareerPlug within their brand
  • Create and deliver webinars, promotions and educational content that drive adoption
  • Monitor partner health, renewal dates and churn risk, and keep partners informed on open issues
  • Represent CareerPlug at partner conferences and events, including speaking when the opportunity comes up
  • Keep partner records up to date in HubSpot

Travel:
Travel to partner conferences is a key part of this role, not an occasional extra. Expect to travel at least 40–50 days a year, mostly to franchise and association conferences where you'll meet partners, connect with franchisees, and sometimes present.

Some conferences run over weekends. When they do, you'll get flex days to make up the time. If regular travel, including some weekends, doesn't fit your life right now, this role may not be the right fit.

Successful candidates will possess the following skills and qualifications:
You know how franchise systems work, and you're energized by influencing people you don't manage and can't simply sell to. You build trust quickly, follow through relentlessly, and hold yourself accountable to a number. You're comfortable in front of a room — on Zoom or on a conference stage — and you can turn a spreadsheet of account data into a story that gets a partner to act.

Your Experience:

  • Required: Experience working with franchise brands and franchisors, and knowledge of the franchise industry — or experience with associations, dealer/licensee networks, or cooperatives/buying groups
  • Required: Experience growing adoption or revenue through others: driving a product or service across a network you don't directly sell to
  • Required: Comfortable presenting and training groups, virtually and in person
  • Required: Experience owning measurable goals (quota, adoption, retention, or similar)

  • Preferred: Franchise Business Consultant/Coach (FBC) experience at a franchisor
  • Preferred: Experience implementing an ATS or other software across a franchise network
  • Preferred: Experience with Home & Commercial Services franchise brands
  • Preferred: Client or partner success, account management, or partner growth experience at a software company
  • Preferred: Experience and knowledge of recruiting or HR
  • Preferred: Experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM

U.S. Equal Opportunity Employment Information (Completion is voluntary)

We are an equal opportunity employer, all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, gender identity, and sexual orientation), parental status, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, (including family medical history), political affiliation, military service, or any other characteristic protected by law.

You are being given the opportunity to provide the following information in order to help us comply with federal and state Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action record keeping, reporting, and other legal requirements.

Form CC-305

Expires 4/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
